Best places to eat in Bratislava and Slovakia

    Bratislavsky Mestiansky Pivovar , one of the olderst restaurants, it was build in 1752 by townspeople Romisch and Hildebrant, as a brewery and then became also slovak restaurant. Now beer is made and served the beautiful old restaurant and delicious traditional slovak food that goes very well with the beer. We usually go for special occasions like birthday and when we want to spend a romantic Valentine or special day in two. Below you can see home made patee, chiken soup, goulash soup, pork belly with cabbage and dumplings, pork belly stew and duck with cabbage and dumplings. Sankt Vitus Kaffe is special as it is the only caffe made in an old church and located near the beautiful Rusovce castle and the peaceful park around it. I remember it totally abandonned,  broken and surrounded by weeds and garbage. The chapel was cleaned and repairedb and transformed into a beautiful coffe shop. The garden was cleaned and tables where set onto a beautiful green plain, swings were added for l
