All Saint day in Slovakia (Dusicky)

                                     Every year on November 1 all over the world the Catholics are celebrating All Saints Day. In Slovakia is is called Dusicky or "souls"and it is an official public holiday.  Since in Romania we are not celebrating it, I fell in love with this holiday as one of my favourites. It is a period when people all over the country are traveling to their hometown to visit the graves of their lost loved ones. The all saints atmosphere starts one week before the holiday. There are many lights in the cemetery, we can see people cleaning the graves and putting fresh flowers, the trains are full and in Bratislava the bus schedule is prolonged and more buses are added to acoomodate the big number of travellers. Sv. Mária Magdaléna Rusovce, St. Mary-Magdalene in Rusovce, Bratislava

I will start the presentation of the Beautiful Churches with the church that for me is the most dearest and the most beautiful in the world. I am speaking about a small and cozy church in a peripheral neighborhood of Bratislava. It is the St. Mary-Magdalene Church in Rusovce. Here some of the most important events in my life took place: here my wedding took place, here i found faith again, here I converted to Catholicism and here my children will be baptized. The first time i came to this beautiful church was in the autumn of the year 2009. My future husband and I were going there to speak to the priest about planning our wedding. I discovered it hiding behind handsome and tall green trees, only the tower with the bell and the clock standing out on the blue sky. I love Bratislava

This will be a very long article because Bratislava is the city i love most between all the cities in the world. It is here that i found happiness and love and it is here that i started to live a normal happy life. Bratislava is the capital of Slovakia and the main city, the economical, political, cultural center of the country. Here sits the president, the parliament and the government. When i came to Bratislava I was surprised to find a very beautiful clean city full of old Castles, palaces, theaters, old buildings, high churches but also new interesting and modern buildings. The old and new mingle peacefully and the old buildings are beautifully preserved. Bratislava is in my opinion as beautiful and interesting like any other well-know touristic location: like Vienna or Prague but smaller and with less people.
